Go Mad As A Hatter In Europe With PSN Release

Archer Maclean’s Mercury released on the PSP back in 2005 to positive critical praise for being a competent and unique puzzle game. The game had the player try to get a small blob of Mercury to a goal by avoiding hazards, splitting the Mercury into smaller pieces, and coloring the Mercury to get through corresponding gates. A couple of games in the franchise hit the PS2 and Wii, but in a few days Ignition Entertainment will release a proper HD sequel.

Mercury Hg will debut on the PSN in Europe this Wednesday September 28th, for £3.99 or €4.99. The game is a direct sequel to Mercury Meltdown and features 120 levels that are named after the first 120 elements, even though only the first 118 elements have officially been recognized. There will also be 40 bonus levels, 20 challenge levels and a DLC pack titled Heavy Elements that will accompany the game on its release date. Let us know in the comments if you are just dying to play with hazardous chemicals…no pun intended.
