Square Enix has officially entered into a partnership with Sony Ericsson, with the popular Japanese publisher planning to bring a number of their titles to the Xperia Play platform. The first of their titles to get this treatment is Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.
The game will launch exclusively on the platform via the Android Marketplace this November. For those that are unfamiliar with the game, Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light is a third person action game that emphasizes co-operative gameplay.
The head of Square Enix mobile in Europe, Ben Cusack expressed his enthusiasm for the new partnership.
This is just the start of what we plan to do together, but right now, we are delighted to be able to show off the full potential of our games with this innovative smartphone, bringing them to life as our creators intended.
