Consisting of four “remastered” maps, new dog tags, trophies, weapons and vehicles, Back to Karkand is the first pack of downloadable content for Battlefield 3. Prior to the game’s release, EA only said that the DLC will release one week early for PS3 owners, but didn’t share when the DLC would come out – until now.
EA has announced that the DLC will release in December and will include the Battlefield 2 maps Strike at Karkan, Gulf of Oman, Sharqi Peninsula and the infamous Wake Island, as well as five new dog tags, five new achievements, three new vehicles (DPV, BTR-90, and F-35B STOVL) and ten “iconic” Battlefield weapons.
If you got your hands on the limited edition version of Battlefield 3, you will get the DLC for free, but EA did not mention how much it will cost everyone else, but, looking at the trend lately, it is safe to say it will cost around $10 to $15.
