The Final Fantasy series is home to some of the best music in the video game industry. Whether or not you still believe that this remains true with the more current installments in the franchise, Square Enix is offering a massive collection of music to gamers who purchase the special edition of Final Fantasy XIII-2.
The soundtrack spans a whopping four discs and will come bundled with the game in a very stylish case. Beloved artist Yoshitaka Amano designed the cover, and boy does it look sleek. In addition, an exclusive book of concept art will be included. While North American gamers won’t have the option to purchase to super-sexy Final Fantasy XIII-2 themed console, this is certainly the next best thing.
So how much will it cost for you to get your paws on this pretty little package? Square Enix announced earlier this morning that the Collector’s Edition will retail for $79.99. Considering all that is included in the package, the premium price shouldn’t be too hard to swallow when the game launches at the end of January.
