Recent PlayStation trailers in Europe have all opened with a blue PlayStation logo, rather than the red XMB wave of before. Now it has been revealed that the whole of PlayStation will have a change in branding to adopt the color.
James Gallagher, Blog Manager, SCEE announced that the EU PS Blog has been revamped to be a lot more blue, adding:
It’s not directly PS Vita related, more of a change in branding direction for the company as a whole. These colours are going to be synonymous with PlayStation going forward.
What that exactly means remains to be seen, but hopefully it means we’ll be able to buy colored Vitas and PS3s soon – something that Sony rarely offers.
