New PS3 Video Editing Software Spotted At CES

Sony is looking to expand upon the already available PlayMemories app, which at this time can display 3D photos on a 3D compatible television. The spin-off app, as we’re calling it, appears to be video editing suite for the PS3. The app was spotted at CES 2012, which is happening all this week. There, Sony is expected to announce a new software called PlayMemories Studio.

Engadget received a blurry shot of the software running on a PS3. The tipster took the picture from Sony’s CES  booth. In October 2011, Sony filled a trademark for the software:

software for viewing, organizing and editing digital photos and video

The software also has a Facebook page that you can visit, though, it’s currently just a blank page at the moment. Keep checking back with that page for more information following the expected official announcement. In the meantime you can check out the blurry shots yourself down below.
