Martial arts film series Ong-Bak, which has had three action-packed installments starring Tony Jaa, is getting a multiplatform video game coming in 2012.
Studio HIVE, based in Thailand, has secured the video game development rights to the series. They’ll be working closely in collaboration with license holder Sahamongkol Film International in order to create a deeper story involvement for Ong-Bak fans.
Akarapol Techaratanaprasert, business development director at Sahamongkol Film International, comments:

We are very selective with our licensing partners and found in Studio HIVE the right partner to bring Ong-Bak to gaming platforms. Their approach to tie in movie and game is the right way to create a perfect interactive entertainment.
