With a viral campaign thought to be for Resident Evil 6 concluding today, the rumor mill is in full gear, with numerous unconfirmed, anonymous rumors claiming to know the contents of the game. But this latest rumor seems a lot more likely, as is backed up with pictures of the RE6 logo and release date, reportedly from GameStop.
A reader sent IGN the following pictures, supposedly of promotional posters:
As you can see, the images claim that RE6 releases on November 20th for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. Capcom have given the usual response that they do not comment on rumors or speculation.
IGN also claim to have a source that states that Chris Redfield and Leon Kennedy are playable characters, much like earlier rumors.
The viral site is expected to make an announcement at 2:00 PM PST today, presumably officially confirming the game and the release date.
