Despite being mostly written off by the mainstream, the PSP still has a decent-sized following, as evidenced by the localization decisions of publishers like Atlus USA. Having just recently revealed that PSP RPG Gungnir would arrive in North America this summer, the company has now announced that it will also be releasing Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time on July 24th.
Originally a 2003 release for PlayStation 2 (which also never made the swim), the tactical RPG arrived on PSP last August with the title of Growlanser: Over Reloaded — not just overloaded, not just reloaded, Over Reloaded. That’s not a mistake. Thankfully, that odd subtitle won’t be crossing the ocean, as Atlus is sticking with the PS2 version of the name, Growlanser: Wayfarer of Time.
