Capcom showed a video of footage of two Wii exclusive on-rails shooters in the Resident Evil series — The Umbrella Chronicles and The Darkside Chronicles — that are coming to PlayStation 3.
Capcom showed a video at the Resident Evil anniversary celebration event in Japan that contained footage of both of the PS3 versions of the games, which are coming to both retail and PSN as HD versions of the original games. The games will come in a collection called the Biohazard Chronicles HD Selection. Both games have “mandatory” PlayStation Move support. In regards to a release date, the games will be “coming soon” to Japan but Capcom Europe said that there are currently no plans for a European release.
Capcom also made a Resident Evil announcement earlier this week: Resident Evil 6 has been officially announced and is scheduled for release on November 20, 2012 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
