Uncharted: Golden Abyss is one of the biggest titles of the PlayStation Vita’s launch, and Resistance: Burning Skies is one of the most anticipated upcoming games for Vita after launch, but neither have online multiplayer. Luckily, both of these games may be getting multiplayer of some kind, according to a recent report.
Destructoid reports that when the subject of multiplayer was mentioned while talking to one of the developers of Uncharted: Golden Abyss, the developer said that gamers should expect “something different” and that an official announcement would be coming soon. The report speculates that the multiplayer offering is co-op, but said that the developer would not go into specifics.
As for Resistance: Burning Skies, one of the game’s developers was described as “adamant” about offering a console experience.
PSLS has an import review of Uncharted: Golden Abyss, which blew us away as it provided a full singleplayer Uncharted experience for the Vita.
Uncharted: Golden Abyss will be available at PlayStation Vita’s launch, while Resistance: Burning Skies is currently scheduled to be released sometime in 2012.
