Ratchet & Clank HD Collection Arriving in Europe This Spring, North America This Fall

Just a couple of weeks ago, a high-definition collection for Ratchet & Clank was spotted on Amazon France. Sony has now confirmed the rumor, announcing that the collection will launch in Europe this spring and stateside this fall.

Moments before the official announcement, 9Lives.be reported that the Ratchet & Clank HD Collection would arrive in stores on May 16th and would include the first three games in the series. Sony has confirmed this to be true, adding that there will be 3D and trophy support – naturally – and will include the third entry’s eight-player multiplayer.

The source also revealed an image of the game’s box art, which you can check out below.

Considering the fact that we’ve already got collections of Jak and Daxter and Sly Cooper, it’s fair to say that this collection is long overdue. You can check out the first batch of screens below.

The games are a full 1080p HD remaster, with 720p stereoscopic 3D support, three Platinum Trophies and even online competitive multiplayer for Up Your Arsenal.
