Starting to lose hope that we’ll see a Kingdom Hearts III by the end of this console generation? Well if franchise lead Tetsuya Nomura’s upcoming announcement is as big as he says it is, your dreams may just come true.
In the recently released Kingdom Hearts 3D Ultimania guide book, an interview with Nomura can be found in which he discusses the future of the series, noting that he and the team have been making a decent amount of headway on a new installment. He then went on to say that an announcement regarding the title will be made soon.
With E3 just one month away, it sure sounds like we may get a reveal at the big show. Then again, Nomura also has his hands full with Final Fantasy Versus XIII so it’s hard to imagine him blowing the lid off of Kingdom Hearts III before having anything additional to show for Versus.
Looks like we’ll just have to wait in see. In the meantime, let us know in the comments below which you are more excited for: Kingdom Hearts III or Final Fantasy Versus XIII.
