Official UK Site for Black Ops 2 Prematurely Reveals Campaign Details, Nov. 13th Release

Later today, Activision will be officially revealing their next installment in the Call of Duty franchise during the NBA playoffs, but thanks to an early outing via the official UK site for the game, some of the surprise has already been spoiled.

The site, which has since been taken down, reveals that the next game in the series will be coming on November 13th and will be called Black Ops 2. This should hardly come as a surprise, especially if you’ve been following all of the rumors and alleged leaks over the past several weeks.

Additionally, the website also offered a few details regarding what we can expect from the campaign. The game will be set during a 21st Century Cold War and part of the single-player will likely take place in Los Angeles. A trailer for the game was also included on the site, but unfortunately it wasn’t playable. A description below the video was included however, which said:

Pushing the boundaries of what fans have come to expect from the record-setting entertainment franchise, Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 propels players into a near future, 21st Century Cold War, where technology and weapons have converged to create a new generation of warfare. Pre-order today.

For more details on the upcoming Black Ops sequel, be sure to tune in to the NBA playoffs on TNT tonight. In the meantime, check out the game’s sleek box art below.
