A report has suggested that EA is just a few weeks away from unveiling something called “Battlefield Premium” and that a previously unannounced DLC expansion will be coming in 2013.
Battlefieldo reports that on June 4th, EA will allegedly release something called “Battlefield Premium,” which is described as the following:
Battlefield™ Premium will land you a number of content drops with unique in-game items not available anywhere else. First out is the one-of-a-kind Premium knife and black dog tag, plus a set of soldier camos, weapon camos, dog tags and Assignments that will make sure you stand out and get more personalization options.
Furthermore, the report goes on to say that EA has allegedly planned a currently unannounced fifth expansion for Battlefield 3, which would release in March 2013. No further details on the expansion were released.
Some other alleged content is listed as well, such as a strategy guide and unspecified “bonus content” allegedly coming in August.
EA has not made any official announcements regarding any of the content mentioned in the report, but if there are any updates, PSLS will keep you posted. To view the currently announced calendar of DLC for the game, click here.
