Electronic Arts had already confirmed a new Dead Space installment in the publisher’s fiscal earnings call, but they didn’t reveal if it was Dead Space 3 or not. Now, though, they’ve finally confirmed the game’s existence, as well as releasing the survival horror shooter’s first screenshot.
Speaking to IGN, the publisher said Dead Space 3 will be shown during their E3 press conference on Monday (1 PM PDT). Both the first details and debut footage will be showcased.

Dead Space 3‘s first batch of screenshots were recently leaked, with one depicting protagonist Isaac Clarke dual-wielding a weapon. EA’s also released the first official image of Visceral’s third installment, below, which gives us a clearer look into the newly-introduced component. The assault rifle seems to be equipped with a grenade launcher, accompanied by the amount of ammo of each weapon.
