Ubisoft Announces That Far Cry 3 Has Been Delayed, New Release Date Revealed

Ubisoft has announced that Far Cry 3 has a new release date after a last minute delay.

The original release date for the highly anticipated FPS was September 4th, but the new release date for the game is November 29th in the EMEA (Europe, The Middle East, and Africa) and December 4th in the United States. .

Ubisoft Producer Dan Hay said the following about the delay:

We’re taking more time to create the best possible gameplay experience. Far Cry 3 is a huge offering and we want every element of this insane, action-packed adventure to be of the highest possible quality for the players.

Gamers will get a chance to sample some of Far Cry 3‘s gameplay offerings ahead of its release date, as the game is scheduled to have a two week closed multiplayer beta sometime this summer on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live.
