A few weeks back, a rumor popped up on the internet claiming that Green Goblin star Willem Dafoe would be co-staring in Quantic Dream’s Beyond: Two Souls. Studio head David Cage has since debunked this rumor.
Joystiq ask Cage about Dafoe’s alleged involvement in the game today at Comic-Con, to which he shook his head and replied: “Nice try.” So it looks like we can finally put this one to rest. Interestingly enough, two other Hollywood actors were announced to be in the title alongside Juno’s Ellen Page, including Kadeem Hardison and Eric Winter.
We were totally floored when we first saw Beyond: Two Souls at E3, and all of the subsequent footage we’ve since our time at the expo has us even more excited. With this and Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us both set to launch sometime next year, 2013 is going to be one heck of a year for PlayStation gamers.
