After being pre-maturely outed on EA’s Origin store, the publisher has finally made it official, Battlefield 4 is real, and those who pre-order the limited edition version of Danger Close’s Medal of Honor: Warfighter will get exclusive access to the beta.
The news was unveiled in a brand-new video detailing Warfighter’s multiplayer. In the video below, you’ll not only see the Battlefield 4 beta announcement, but also an in-depth look at the game’s online offerings with exposition by the game’s creative director of multiplayer, Kristoffer Bergqvist.

Medal of Honor: Warfighter is set to release on October 23 for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC. Judging by the fact that Battlefield 4’s beta access will be tied to Warfighter’s pre-orders, it looks like the game will be focused on current-gen consoles rather than new technology.
