Some are going to get the chance to sample Sony’s upcoming fighter a bit early, ahead of the probable PS+ beta next month.
PSLS has received emails from readers showing that they’ve received PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale beta codes for the PS3 version of the game in their inboxes. One reader has provided an image of the email, which we’ve included below.
News of the codes going out follows just days after reports of PSASBR beta codes going out to PS Plus members in Hong Kong and Singapore.
According to the image of the email, the purpose of the beta is to “stress test” the server’s load capacity, as well as in-game features. The beta is also described as a closed “Developer Beta,” which means that spots are likely very limited, but readers should still check out their inboxes to see if they have received a code.
The PSASBR beta marks the second beta that Sony has sent codes out for this month, with the LittleBigPlanet Karting beta just about to wrap up in a few days.
