Raiden Announced for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

It looks like gamers will get to play as Raiden before the release of Revengeance, thanks to the character’s inclusion in SuperBot’s upcoming brawler PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

The reveal was made via Gamespot Asia which has a video to go along with the announcement. As Raiden, players will be able to juggle opponents and rack up combos with the cyborg ninja’s trusty blade.

You can see the sword-swinging character in action in the trailer below.

Raiden was heavily rumored to be a member of the PSABR cast several weeks ago, so this news shouldn’t come as much of a shock. What is a bit surprising however, is the lack of Solid Snake. If the Metal Gear icon could squeeze his way into Nintendo’s brawler, there’s no reason why he shouldn’t be in PlayStation All-Stars.
