Sony Details 84-Inch 4K Television, Release and Price Confirmed

Looking to get the most out of next generation’s gaming hardware? Will if recent rumors prove to be true, Sony’s PlayStation 4 will support 4K televisions, so start saving your pennies now, because the luxury of owning bleeding-edge tech comes at a steep price.

Sony has just revealed firm details on its first 4K television set to hit retailers this November with SimulView support. This 84-inch monstrosity has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 and comes bearing a hefty price tag of $25,000.

Check out the gorgeous 3D LCD display in all its glory below.

Just imagine gaming on a screen that large with such a crystal clear picture. I don’t know about you, but I can’t help from salivating just at the thought of it.

With Sony clearly pushing this as the future of television, there’s an awfully good chance that their next iteration of the PlayStation will take advantage of these amazing displays — though I don’t know if many people will be able to afford it.
