While many gamers have been waiting for a killer game ever since the PlayStation Vita launched earlier this year (may I introduce you to my friend Nathan Drake?), LittleBigPlanet Vita looks like it may just be the killer app the Vita has been looking for by combining everything great about the critically acclaimed LittleBigPlanet 2 with mobile-esque titles the community can create, and share for free via LittleBigPlanet‘s renowned, and improved touch screen enabled level creator.
Now 11 days ahead of LBPV‘s September 25th release, GameStop has broken the street date across the U.S, (there’s community reports that GameStop’s Canadian arm EB Games is selling LBPV early as well) according to Escapist this is all thanks to a computer error/technicality:
LittleBigPlanet didn’t have a street date in the retailer’s computer, which allowed it to sell the game as soon as it came in.
Are you rushing to GameStop to buy Sackboy’s latest adventure, or is LBPV the kind of experience you’re planning to keep handy on the memory card when LittleBigPlanet officially releases September 25th?
UPDATE: LittleBigPlanet‘s street date has officially been lifted by Sony for all retailers.
