Hey all you God of War fans out there, do you have $79.99 burning a hole in you pocket? If so, and an 8″ Kratos statue sounds like a good investment, you may want to change your Ascension pre-order to the collector’s version.
Over on the EU PlayStation Blog, Sony has revealed that the latest installment in their popular God of War franchise will be receiving a very special edition, complete with the following goodies:
- The ultimate GoW collectible – an 8″ Kratos figurine
- Premium steelbook game case
- Double XP bonus for multiplayer and a DLC pass to unlock all future DLC for the game at no additional cost
- Mythological Heroes Multiplayer Pack
- Official game soundtrack (digital version)
- PS3 dynamic theme and an avatar pack
If you’re too eager to spend the extra cash, pre-ordering either version of the game will get you access to the “Mythological Heroes Multiplayer Pack”, which includes Perseus, Orion, Achilles and Odysseus.
God of War: Ascension launches on March 12th.
