In order to reward fans of Borderlands 2, Gearbox will be giving away five different sets of SHiFT codes starting tonight and extending all the way into tomorrow. These codes will unlock various in-game items such as Golden Keys and rare loot, all for free.
To get these codes, you only need to like Borderlands 2 on Facebook or follow @GearboxSoftware on Twitter and they’ll be given away at the following times:
- Friday, October 26 – 6PM CT (What time is that for me?)
- Friday, October 26 – 11PM CT (What time is that for me?)
- Saturday, October 27 – 5AM CT (What time is that for me?)
- Saturday, October 27 – 11AM CT (What time is that for me?)
- Saturday, October 27 – 3PM CT (What time is that for me?)
If you aren’t currently signed up for SHiFT, simply go to the main menu of Borderlands 2, select ‘Extras’, then ‘Shift Code’, click on ‘Sign Up’ (must be 18 years or older), and complete the process by reviewing the online policy and entering your email address.
Each code will last for three hours after being posted and if you’re still unclear on this process, feel free to head over to Gearbox’s support website.
