Assassin’s Creed III Sells 3.5 Million According to Ubisoft Estimates

Ubisoft’s action-adventure set in the American Revolution has done incredibly well based on the publisher’s estimates, which clock in around 3.5 million.

The Assassin’s Creed franchise has quickly become Ubisoft’s most profitable and promising franchise, with each new installment selling incredibly well year after year. Assassin’s Creed III continues the trend with its first week of sales, which are believed to be double that of 2011’s installment, Revelations.

The publisher expects to have a promising holiday season with not only AC3, but also Just Dance 4 and Far Cry 3. In fact, Ubisoft’s Yves Guillemot said that Far Cry 3 has “achieved among the best playtest scores in Ubisoft’s history, confirming the game’s outstanding quality.”
