Sony Identifies Saving Problem With PS Vita System Software 2.00, Fix Incoming

The latest system software update for the PlayStation Vita bumped it up to version 2.00, adding a bunch of new features and gave the handheld access to PlayStation Plus.

As it turns out, there is a problem with this latest firmware where trying to automatically save to the online storage granted with PlayStation Plus isn’t functioning properly. To remedy this, Sony is working hard to get a new patch out as soon as possible so you no longer experience this problem.

We’ll let you know as soon as 2.01 (or possibly 2.10) is released for the PlayStation Vita, but in the meantime, you can use the Content Management section to back up your saves.

How are you enjoying PlayStation Plus on your Vita? Has it forced you to buy a bigger memory card? Let us know in the comments section below.
