While it wasn’t completely terrible, the multiplayer in BioShock 2 just felt out of place and the development time spent on it would have been better allocated to improving the single player.
So when a fan on Twitter asked Ken Levine about BioShock Infinite possibly having multiplayer, he gave a very relieving answer:
RT
@tha_don_101:@IGLevine can you clear up whether or not Bioshock Infinite will have multiplayer modes? —Nope.
Some people were confused about the tweet, leading to this follow-up for clarification:
RT
@wolverine11111:@IGLevine Does that mean nope it won’t or nope you can’t clear that issue up? –No multi.
This is definitely good news and it means that Ken Levine and his team will be worrying about creating the best single player experience that they possibly can.
