Assassin’s Creed 3 to get Sequel Next Year with Co-op Mode?

TGL reports that Ubisoft sent out a survey to gauge the market for the next Assassin’s Creed game. The standout questions are inquiring customer interest in buying Assassin’s Creed III’s sequel if it features:

“Possibility for a friend to join the game in order to help me at any time during the solo mode?”

Along with:

“If it was to become available next year, how likely are you to purchase the next Assassin’s Creed game?”

Co-op would be an instant blessing to the hugely popular, primarily single-player experience. The question about an Assassin’s Creed hitting next year isn’t surprising because knowing Ubisoft’s release schedule for the franchise historically-speaking, they’re going to put out another Assassin’s Creed in 2013 regardless of what this survey tells them.

The survey also asked gamers to rate their experience with other popular games (including Uncharted 3.) This is a good question to ask, so that Assassin’s Creed can hopefully grow, and adapt some of the features and functionality of other titles.

Would you like to see co-op in Assassin’s Creed? Or are you just sick of the annual releases? Sound off in the comments.
