Rumor: Next Assassin’s Creed Will Be Set In Brazil

It looks like Ubisoft may not be returning to the days of early America in its next installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise.

Ubisoft Brazil managing director Bertrand Chaverot told Techtudo (via GameSpot) the the next Assassin’s Creed will at the very least feature some content that is set in Brazil. Unfortunately, Chaverot didn’t provide any additional details.

Other branches of Ubisoft have yet to confirm this news, and there’s a good chance something may have gotten lost in translation—after all, there was a mission in Assassin’s Creed III that was set in Brazil—so we’ll have to treat this as rumor for the time being.

Regardless, it sure is fun to  speculate, so be sure to sound off in the comments below with your thoughts on this potential new setting. Do you like the idea? If not, where do you think the next game should be set?
