Naughty Dog has had us on tenterhooks these past few weeks, constantly teasing that we would have some big news regarding Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception very soon.
Well, they’ve announced that there have been some “hiccups” and we won’t be hearing anything till the first week of February, whereas they had previously planned to do it this month. When February does roll around though, we can expect “a huge wave of news.”
At this point in the speculation cycle, the consensus seems to be that we’ll be seeing a standalone release of the Uncharted 3 multiplayer (possibly for free), following in the footsteps of Killzone 3. While this is purely speculation, it seems to be the only thing fitting all of the hype Naughty Dog has put behind this impending announcement. Or maybe it will add dinosaurs, who knows?
