The Evolution of PlayStation videos, that started with the PS1 on Friday, continued over the weekend with the PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 3.
For the 2000 release of the PS2, Sony shows off how big of a phenomenon the system was when it first launched, the fact that there are over 10,000 games, the amazing sales of over 150 million worldwide, and, best of all, Kaz:

Moving on to the PS3 in 2006, the video doesn’t mention anything about the launch price or Ridge Racer, choosing instead to focus on the Blu-ray player, enhanced graphics, PSN, PlayStation Plus, and a bunch of games that aren’t even out yet:

Since they went straight from PS2 to PS3 in the video sequence, perhaps we won’t see anything for the PlayStation Portable or PlayStation Vita, but we’ll be sure to let you know if that changes.
