Update: We heard back from Deck13 and they told us that the game is “in theory, ready for release for PlayStation but there are some events beyond our control preventing us from putting it online yet.” They pointed to the fact that March 19th is a good timeframe for when we may see the game, but it isn’t concrete. We’ll let you know when Blood Knights gets a new date.
Original Story: Amid all the excitement following the PlayStation 4 announcement yesterday, we completely missed out on the fact that Blood Knights, a PSN title originally scheduled for February 20th, didn’t actually appear on the PlayStation Network. We searched developer Deck 13’s website, looked through lots of tweets, and did other unspeakable things, but could find no reason for the game being delayed (again!).
In fact, all we could find was an updated listing for the game on Xbox.com, which now shows it as having a March 19th release date. Additionally, we found an Amazon.de product page, where it has a March 15th date on PC.
As for the Sony Entertainment Network website, it does have a listing for Blood Knights, though no details or date are listed. Since the SEN or PSN doesn’t generally post anything for digital games until they actually come out, it seems like the delay was a last minute decision.
If you’ve managed to find anything about Blood Knights’ delay that we may have missed, please send an email to [email protected].
