Eager baseball fans, who have probably been watching Spring Training and the early stages of the World Baseball Classic already, headed down to stores today, picking up MLB 13: The Show on PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, or both, thanks to Cross Saves allowing you to share save data.
Unfortunately, the Online Pass for the PlayStation Vita version isn’t working quite yet, with Jason Villa, Senior Producer at SCEA, explaining the situation:
Vita Online Pass publishing will be delayed a bit, but it will happen today. We are working to get the Online Pass codes working for Vita as soon as possible. Your code is not broken and will work once activated in the PlayStation Store. Thank you for your patience and support.
So, if you’re one of those people with an invalid online pass, don’t worry, just play offline until later today, likely right when the PS Store updates. If you’d rather get a digital copy of the PlayStation 3 version though, a quick search on the PSN shows that it takes up 21.7GB on your HDD.
Stay tuned for our full review of MLB 13: The Show soon, and in the meantime, check out these two Canadian and American commercials for the game:
