To make your time in God of War: Ascension as smooth as possible when you pick it up PlayStation 3 tomorrow, Sony Santa Monica has already released patch 1.01, which takes up 107MB.
We looked around and found that full patch notes are expected later today (we’ll put them into this post when they show up), but Todd Papy, Game Director on God of War: Ascension did tweet that we should “get the patch” as it “fixes some issues in [single player] and [multiplayer].” So, while you may not have to wait for a mandatory install when you pop the game into your PS3, you’ll need to wait for patch 1.01 to download and install.
