Late last night, Sony released the latest system update for the PlayStation Vita, 2.06. While detailed patch notes weren’t given, we can tell you that the update does “improve system software stability for some features.”
Since 2.06 is mandatory, you won’t be able to access the PlayStation Store and buy all of the new releases today until you download and install it. For me, this process only took a few minutes, though my first attempt did result in an error code. An issue that rectified itself on my second try.
I didn’t get to spend any real time with my Vita after the update, so if you happened to notice anything major that was changed, please let us know in the comments below.
