New The Phantom Trailer, Which Will “Answer all of Your Questions,” Expected at GDC

Geoff Keighley and a crew from GTTV went to a hotel room in their latest episode to interview someone who was supposedly Joakim Mogren, Founder and CEO of Moby Dick Studio.

The interview was mainly a big joke, and revealed little, but Joakim (who had his face wrapped in bandages due to “a little accident”) did mention that we should expect a new The Phantom Pain trailer at GDC later this month, which he should be healed up for. If this does turn out to be true, you can expect the video to “answer all of your questions.”

When Geoff tried to find out if The Phantom Pain was a next-generation game, Joakim said, “Unfortunately I cannot confirm that” and he also couldn’t confirm if he has development kits for next-gen consoles.

Joakim then showed Geoff some images on his iPad, but when Geoff pointed out the FOX Engine logo in one of the pictures, Joakim then became wide-eyed and the interview ended. Kojima, meanwhile, is holding a 90 minute GDC presentation, which will be live streamed.

Personally I’m getting a little tired of this and hope it all ends at GDC. If it does, you can be sure we’ll let you know just what The Phantom Pain is.
