God of War: Ascension Places Behind Tomb Raider, Sold Less Than Half of God of War 3 in the UK

Despite achieving the second biggest debut in the franchise, it wasn’t all good news for God of War: Ascension in the UK last week, as the latest in the series managed less than half the sales God of War 3 saw at its launch. Due to this, Tomb Raider (down 72%) captured first place yet again, relegating Ascension to #2.

Looking at other new releases that didn’t feature Kratos, StarCraft 2: Heart of the Swarm on PC finished third, with Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 ending up right behind it, proving that people in the UK like sniping and ghosting.
