Borderlands 2 Level Cap Increase DLC Out on April 2nd, Psycho Pack in May

Your library of Borderlands 2 DLC is going to be growing very soon as Gearbox has announced that the Ultimate Vault Hunter Upgrade Pack is going live on April 2nd. This will cost you $4.99, or is free to anyone with the Season Pass, and it raises the level cap from 50 to 61, while also unlocking a third play through with the new Ultimate Vault Hunter Mode.

Then in May, the Psycho Pack is going to be available for $9.99, adding Krieg, the new Psycho Bandit character class. Gearbox’s description of Krieg gives you an idea of what to expect:

Wielding a buzz axe and harnessing his psychotic multiple personalities, Krieg is a badass melee mauler with ranged attack capabilities that can rip foes to shreds with his deadly Buzz Axe Rampage action skill. Players can stack combat bonuses with Krieg’s Bloodlust skill tree, live on the edge of insanity with the Mania tree, or engulf both enemies and yourself in flames with the Hellborn tree.

The next, and final, piece of campaign DLC for Borderlands 2 is expected to arrive in June. When it’s detailed, we’ll be sure to let you know what it’s all about.

Are you going to get both the level increase and Krieg DLC? Let us know in the comments below.
