Bethesda Putting the “Studio’s Full Attention” Behind Their “Next Major Project,” “Moving on” From Skyrim

Following the trio of DLC releases for Skyrim on PS3 in February, and the launch of patch 1.09 last Monday, Bethesda has announced that their “next major project” is “at the point where it requires the studio’s full attention to make it our biggest and best work yet.”

What this means for Skyrim is that they are “moving on,” but Bethesda will “still have minor updates to Skyrim as needed” and “they’ve invested so much of ourselves into Skyrim and will never truly say goodbye to it.”

No teasers as to what their next project may be were given, though if it’s part of the reveals Pete Hines mentioned, we should be hearing something about it at some point this year.

What do you think that “next major project” is? Let us know in the comments below.
