Ask PSLS: Which May 2013 New Release Video Game Are You Most Excited For?

We’re back with our latest look ahead to the game we’re most excited for in the coming month, this time focusing on May 2013. With a variety of titles like Metro: Last Light, Velocity Ultra, Fuse, and more, find out which one gets the most attention when we ask the PSLS staff: “Which May 2013 New Release Video Game Are You Most Excited For?”

Anthony Severino – Gunslinger (@Sev_Anthony)

This may come as a shock, but I’m most looking forward to Call of Juarez: Gunslinger. Coming from a guy who makes jokes about the Call of Juarez series, this surprises even me. For one, Ubisoft does an excellent job with their digital titles. And two, taking the pressure away from a big-budget retail release has allowed Techland to have some fun with this title. It reminds me of the old coin-op Wild Western shoot-em-ups at the local arcade. It’s a lot of fun, and it plays extremely well as I found out at PAX East. That’s a day one download for me.

Chandler Wood – Fuseslinger (@FinchStrife)

North American releases for May are looking pretty sad right now, but if you look carefully, there is a diamond in the rough. Fuse will be releasing in May, and has me pretty excited. I don’t think it’s going to end up being any kind of game of the year contender, but for the simple sake of being the best game that I can see releasing in NA in May, and what looks to be like an interesting shooter, I’m voting for Fuse as my game in May.

Jason Dunning – Ultraslinger (@Jasonad21)

Due to my ever increasing backlog, I find it tough to be excited for any new games (I still have to play BioShock Infinite and Tomb Raider), but if I had to pick one, I’d say Velocity Ultra.

Jesse Meikle – Canadaslinger (@Jesse_WM)

My colorful Canadian currency won’t be exchanged for a single title in May. Bring on The Last of Us in June!

Louis Edwards – Lightslinger (@ftwrthtx)

The only game I’m looking forward to is Metro: Last Light.  Nothing else even interests me for the Month of May. June, on the other hand, is an entirely different story.

Sebastian Moss – Poopslinger (@FoolsJoker)

In May, I may play Blood Dragon, I may be interested in some Metro, but I’ll scream ‘Mayday, Mayday’ if anyone tries to make me play Call of Juarez: Poopslinger. As for the most interesting game, it may be Soul Sacrifice, but I think I may have already sacrificed my soul when I ran for mayor.
