The Daily Catch-Up: May 15th, 2013 – Ratchet & Clank: Full Frontal Assault Out Soon, “Plenty More” Sound Shapes Content Coming, Funny Deadpool Box Art

You’re probably thinking to yourself right now, “What is The Daily Catch-Up?” Well, this is an idea we’ve been floating around at PSLS for a little while now, and we’re finally bringing it to life.

Each and everyday, there’s smaller bits of news that pop up not worthy of a standalone post. So, the Daily Ketchup will be here for you whenever we deem it necessary.

General News

  • Ratchet & Clank: Q-Force (Full Frontal Assault) is “penned to release pretty soon, however it’s not confirmed.” While Ratchet: Gladiator HD (Deadlocked) “is still cooking.”
  • The reason DUST 514 isn’t free-to-play in Germany is “due to the age rating of the game. Content above a certain rating cannot be free in Germany. To get around this a separate SKU is provided at a low cost that includes in game currency.”
  • Battlefield 4 won’t feature a co-op game mode
  • There’s “plenty more content” planned for Sounds Shapes this summer
  • Capcom vs. SNK 2 was rated by PEGI, meaning that a PSN release should be happening soon
  • Hotline Miami on PS3 and PS Vita is scheduled for early summer
  • Ed Boon teased that the Batgirl DLC for Injustice: Gods Among Us comes out on Tuesday
  • As of May 14th, GRID 2 has gone gold
  • Those pictures Avalanche Studios posted earlier in the year were from a “steampunk-style game we had in development that we put on ice”

  • Gran Turismo 6 is already available for pre-order at GameStop and Amazon for $59.99
  • Amazon has a Payday 2 Collector’s Edition (no details given) pegged at $59.99
  • GameStop places the PSN version of TMNT: Into the Shadows for June 25th

  • Putty Squad is coming to the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita this summer:

  • Grip Games (Foosball 2012) is bringing Atomic Ninjas to the PS3 this summer and PS Vita this fall. In the game, you take control of super-powered ninjas in online matches against other players, complete with 7 arenas, hazards, and more. Bots are also supported for split-screen multiplayer and single player:

  • Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon Because I DON’T KNOW! and Ben 10 Omniverse 2 are hitting the PlayStation 3 this fall
