PS4 Twitter Campaign to not Include DRM and Allow Used Games Launched, Gains Attention from Sony Employees

Thanks to the Xbox One used game and DRM whirlwind, as well as Geoff Keighley’s thoughts that the PS4 would have some sort of used games restriction, a Twitter campaign has been launched to try to ensure that the PS4 doesn’t follow the One. The plan of this one is to tweet various Sony employees with the hashtags #PS4NoDRM and #PS4UsedGames in an attempt to have our hopes for the PlayStation 4 heard.

Well, this took off and has gained a ton of traction from gamers and media alike, with many of those Sony employees letting everyone know that they hear them:

And finally, a parody account:

With the PlayStation 4 appearing in the flesh at E3 2013, more details regarding the next-gen system are expected then, so we’ll hopefully learn everything about Sony’s stance on used games and DRM then.
