It looks like we’re psychic, because we predicted yesterday that Rayman Legends on PlayStation Vita would be given a North American release date of September 3rd today, which it was. Unfortunately, our psychic powers didn’t extend to the brand new gameplay trailer that was brought out today, showing off how awesome this game looks on the Vita:
To re-confirm all the features for this version of Rayman Legends, you can expect five exclusive maps playable with Murphy, the green bottle fly seen in previous Rayman games, controlled via the rear touchpad. There’s also a local multiplayer mode, online co-op with players from the same country, online challenges, and online leaderboards.
As you also saw in the video, there’s a Prince of Persia costume for Rayman, with Globox getting a Splinter Cell one.
