After being rumored several times, Ubisoft’s new racing IP has been unveiled.
During their E3 press conference, the French publisher announced ‘The Crew‘, in development by Ivory Tower and Ubisoft Reflections as an early 2014 PS4, Xbox One and PC title.
Yves Guillemot believes it will “revolutionize the genre”. The developer said that the game is essentially set in “the whole of the USA”, where you go from city to city racing against criminals.
Every mission, event or race can be played online with co-op and a persistent online world. It can also be played solo.
As for second screen ‘experiences’, Ubisoft announced that you will be able to create your cars on your iPad.
