After a leak yesterday about its existence, Activision has confirmed that the next piece of DLC for Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is titled Vengeance, with a July 2nd release date on Xbox 360 announced. Like all new Call of Duty content, it’s a timed exclusive on Xbox Live, so don’t expect to see this on PS3/PC until about a month from then, with August 1st a good bet.
Inside Vengeance, you can expect four brand new multiplayer maps – Cove, Detour, Rush, and Uplink, a re-imagining of the classic Summit map – a new Zombie map with Buried, which features the new Zombies weapon, the Ray Gun Mark II.
Giving you an overview of Vengeance are members of the Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 development team, including David Vonderhaar, Game Design Director, who calls the DLC “one of my all-time favorites:”
