Even a 57% drop in sales couldn’t keep The Last of Us out of the top 10 best-selling games in Japan between July 1st and 7th, as it held its ground and stayed in 8th place. As for a new release this week, Earth Defense Force 2025, the PS3 version placed first with just shy of 155,000 sold, whereas the Xbox 360 finished at 6th, with over 23,300 sold.
On systems, the PlayStation Vita took a dip, ending up at 20,776, with the PS3 and PSP garnering 11,683 and 5,768, respectively.
