Facing its stiffest competition since launch last month, Naughty Dog’s The Last of Us (down 43%) continued to be a chart-topping juggernaut, finishing in first place for a fifth week in a row. If The Last of Us manages to place first next week, it will match the unbroken six week runs of Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 and FIFA 12, despite only being released on one system.
Elsewhere, newcomer Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros. wasn’t able to do enough to beat fellow 3DS title, Animal Crossing: New Leaf, settling for a third place debut.
Here’s the top 19 selling games in the UK for the week ending July 13th:
- The Last of Us
- Animal Crossing: New Leaf
- Mario & Luigi: Dream Team Bros.
- FIFA 13
- Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition
