It’s been a bit of a busy day for Sony and some of their employees today through Twitter, as Tony Clark, Director of Business Development, EMEA/India/ANZ at SCEE, teased this morning, “gamescom. Coming soon. So many cool things to tell the world. #ps4 #psvita #gc2013.” We’ve already known that the PS4 would have a good showing gamescom, so this is just another fun tease for what is sure to be an interesting event.
Next up was the Sony XDev Europe account, who simply said, “Also Stay tuned over the coming weeks as we have some very exciting tricks up our XDev sleeves…..”
Finally, it wouldn’t be a Sony employee Twitter post without mentioning Shahid Ahmad, Senior Business Development Manager at SCEE, who announced, “2 Vita games, 1 PS4 game agreed today. About to see if I can get my US colleagues on the phone to do more. This week it’s been non-stop.” Considering that Shahid’s resume includes previous signings such as Thomas Was Alone, Luftrausers, and “the top 4 recent metacritic titles for Vita,” expect them all to be indie titles.
Even after signing those three games, Shahid is still going to be busy, as he’s about to be in contact with a member of the team working on Tengami, with the description of the game reading:
An atmospheric adventure game, set in Japan of ancient dark fairy tales. Explore a beautifully crafted pop-up book world and unfold the mystery. Tengami is in development for iOS, PC, Mac and Wii U.
Tengami looks interesting, so hopefully something can be worked out.
