As we grow ever closer to the start of gamescom 2013 (it’s next week!), we know to expect details on a PS4 game Housemarque is working on, along with a new next-gen IP from Ubisoft.
Speaking on the EU PS Blog, Fred Dutton, SCEE Blog Manager, said that, “yes,” we will see some new PS Vita at gamescom. We’ll have to see exactly what they are, but Sony XDev Europe did give us a tease last week, while also saying today, “As we draw ever closer to Gamescom we get more excited about showing you some of our new projects!”
On the subject of being able to livestream the gamescom conference on your PlayStation Vita, Dutton said, “I’ll confirm livestream details a little later this week.” As well, we can expect further details about gamescom itself “very soon.”
A couple other bits of miscellaneous info include that there still isn’t any update on Ratchet: Gladiator HD coming to Europe, there’s no update on PaRappa games for PS1/PS2 Classics, and the PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale free costumes should hit Europe on August 28th.
Finally, Fred confirmed that we can expect to hear all about the September 2013 PlayStation Plus free games for Europe not this week, but next.
